Strategy & Research

Before a single pixel is drawn we work out what the business actually needs to win. Strategy at Sepanta is short, evidence-led and ends in decisions — not a slide deck nobody reads.

The Challenge

Most digital projects fail not because of technology, but because they lack a clear commercial purpose or a deep understanding of the user's mental model.

Our Solution

We strip away the noise to find the core business drivers. Our strategy phase is a rapid, high-impact sprint that defines your positioning and measurable success metrics.

We start with the commercial question

Every engagement opens with the same question: what has to be true in twelve months for this project to be considered a success? More qualified leads, a shorter sales cycle, lower support load, a higher average order value. That answer becomes the brief, and every later decision — a navigation label, a page order, a form field — is judged against it.

Research that is proportionate

We do not run six-month discovery programmes. A focused round of stakeholder interviews, five to eight conversations with real customers, a hard look at analytics and search demand, and a structured audit of the three competitors that actually matter will surface the majority of the insight. We write down what we learned, what we assumed, and what we still need to test.

Positioning before layout

Most sites underperform because they are unclear, not because they are ugly. We define the one thing the brand should be known for, the proof that makes it believable, and the language the audience already uses. That gives copy, design and development a shared vocabulary, so the finished product sounds like one company rather than five contributors.

Architecture and measurement

The output is a sitemap, a content model and a measurement plan. You know which pages exist, what job each page does, which section carries the conversion, and exactly which events we will track from launch day so the next iteration is based on behaviour rather than opinion.
